Reviews

  • Not The Originals

As another reviewer noted, and as the Album Review admits in part, these are not the original recordings. For example, compare "Tonight My Love, Tonight" on this album with the original on the "Greatest Big Hits of 1961" and "Paul Anka".

Someone needs to cover this song for the modern age.
  • Not The Original Versions!

I am greatly disappointed of all these good song titles are not the Originals. Sure they may sound good to someone who does not know how much better, and with feeling the originals are. I am surprised BMG of all companies would dare to release remakes, rather than some great originals. Donʻt buy these remakes, even though theyʻre sung by the original artist.
  • Teenage phenom!

He wrote most of these songs while still a teenager. An incredible talent that makes me realize how quickly time flies. He is close to 70. Wow.

Spectactular! Breath-taking! Amazing! No words can correctly describe Paul Anka except the flowing and beauty of his music. Anka brings romance and class to your ears and steals your heart with lovable, sentimental-fun, and songs that never get old. I highly suggest this album and I guarentee you that it is worth the money. If you're a beginner at the classics of Anka start with songs like Diana or Put Your Head On My Shoulder (my personal favorite) to give you the feel of what Anka's music is bound to offer. Nothing beats the classics!
