I appreciate a band evolving with the times; a band growing and changing. This album is not the case. I was sadly disappointed to hear this album. This is not the Pearl Jam I've loved going on 30 years now. I appreciate change, but this album has gone one toke over the line. PJ gave up on its strengths and now is trying to do what they think is either "progressive" or "sending a message." Either way, they've fallen short from their previous inspirations. I'll avoid this album and stick to all their previous work. I wish it was not so.

When I first listened to the whole album I thought it was just ok. Then I have have been listening to Pearl Jam station on Sirius for a few months and all the songs free on me. I went back and listened to whole album a few times and now I really like it. A little more punk than 10 - their greatest album to date - but some great grooves. Although I hate Matt Cameron’s playing on any Pearl Jam song he didn’t originally play on, he sounds awesome on this album. I don’t know why he has no groove on songs he didn’t play on the album.
  • It’s Pearl Jam

I hope the rest of the album is not like the first single, too much influence from Julian Casablanca’s. Wolfblood alone deserves 4 stars. Keep on trekking boys. After listening to the full album. I got to say, this album rocks!🤘🏼 can’t wait for them to come back to LA BEST ROCK ALBUM IN YEARS! After letting time pass listening to other releases from different bands. This petal jam album is by far the best rock album of 2020! Thank you for saving 2020! PEARL JAM🤘🏽👍🏽💪🏽🤙🏽

Is is just me... or does this kind of sound like PJ just got together and jam together during a studio session? Also, doesn't "Dance Of The Clairvoyants" sound a lot like the Talking Heads?
  • Really Good!

The first half of this album I loved it right from the start. The second half took a bit to grow on me but now I find myself listening more to the second half than the first. My favorite songs are whoever said , super blood wolf moon, dance of the clairvoyants, quick escape, seven o’clock, comes then goes, and River Cross. Honestly though I can listen to the whole album with no skips.Great job PJ. Can’t wait until I can see you play live again.

Mature album by a grown-up band. Excellent from start to finish.
